Chap Chae

This is a Korean Stir Fry
It is one of my favorites but some people have a
hard time with the texture of the noodles.
4 Carrots sliced to matchsticks
4 Green Onions Sliced to ends
10 Sliced Mushrooms
1/4 lb Thinly Sliced Beef
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce (preferably Aloha Shoyu - most like korean soy sauce)
1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
1 Tbsp Crushed Garlic
1 tsp Black Pepper
3 Tbsp Sesame Oil
3 Tbsp White Sugar
1 Pkg Potato Starch Noodles (work best)  or Bean Threads
~
Saute Beef in pan, then add remaining ingredients and cook until carrots are tender. Then add cooked noodles (follow directions on bag) & cook to absorb most of the juice.

Beef Bulgoki

Korean food is something we enjoy at our house. And this recipe is something that everyone likes that tries it. Also it's very expensive to eat over in Korea.
1 lb Beef Sliced Thin
1 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
1 1/2 tsp Ginger Pwdr
1/3 Cup Soy Sauce (preferably Aloha shoyu, it's sweeter)
1 Tbsp White Sugar
1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
8 Sliced Green Onions
~
Slice beef as thin as you can. Mix remaining ingredients together and marinade in the beef for several hours or overnight. Then cook on the stove top uncovered until beef s cooked and marinade is evaported. Just eat it over rice or with the beef and rice in lettuce leaf.

Poni Po-Po

This is a polynesian sweet roll recipe from
my Samoan Sister-in-law
Devyn and I love it Dan doesn't like soggy rolls
but I'm fine with that, more for me!
1- 14 oz can Coconut Milk
1/3 cup Sugar
2 Tbsp White Flour
~
Frozen Dough or make your own!
Let the dough rise, once they are ready to cook pour the mixture of milk, sugar and flour over the top of the rolls. Place in the oven for about 15 -20 minutes until rolls are nicely browned.

Enjoy your yummy soggy sweet roll!
